As effective advertising campaigns are becoming harder to come by, and the huge dot COMs are going under, identifying an attractive model with the required resources to manage its success is becoming even more challenging. We have formed an affiliation with a well known search engine company in order to provide valuable services to our members that desire to achieve a greater market share by leveraging their position on the Internet. PIsearch.com launched this new phase of their business in the summer of 2001 in order to offer emerging small businesses, individuals and not for profit companies a way to benefit from Pay-Per-Placement advertising at extremely attractive pricing.

What is the difference between paying for impressions and paying for clicks?
Impression based advertising refers to each time a banner or text listing is loaded or refreshed on a screen. The number of loads is the cost to the advertiser. For example, $5 CPM (cost per thousand) means that you pay $5.00 for every thousand times your banner or text is loaded into a browser for viewing on a web page where you paid for that placement. The placement of the banner or listing may be at the top or bottom of a page and might not be the focal point of the Web surfer. In many cases, an advertiser sees little results or site traffic from the money they spent on advertising, because there is no guarantee that the person viewing the page ever saw your ad at all.
Pay-Per-Placement advertising (paying for clicks) in the case of PIsearch.com refers to a member buying the rights to placement in our directory for a particular keyword or phrase. Each time a visitor clicks through to an advertiser’s web site, the agreed upon fee is debited against the advertiser's account. The greatest advantage is the targeting of keywords and the fact that payment is based on results at the predetermined price per visitor.

How do I bid on search terms?
Each member of PIsearch.com is entitled to bid on search terms that are relevant to the content of their own web site. Maintaining high relevancy is critical to providing valuable search results for our members. We make it EZ for our users to review all bids, words and phrases and submit their choices. All search terms are automatically processed without human approval, however, we periodically review bided words and phrases and reserve the right terminate the use of any words or phrases that we, in our sole discretion, believe to be words of a slanderous, bigoted, libelous, or hateful in nature. We immediately notify the member of the removal of any such words and give them the option to choose other words. Members who choose unsatisfactory words a second time, in our sole judgment, will be seen as aggressive and will be removed from membership. Our site is not for the promotion of immoral or illegal activities or speech, as is our right, as owners, to dictate.

Is my personal contact and payment information secure?
All orders for My Web People products and services are processed in a secure manner, either at PayPal or by US Mail. We do not use other methods of payment transactions at this time. How long does it take to process an application?
There is no application for submitting a web site to our data base or for affiliate membership, which requires an affiliate to place our search code on the affiliates web site. The application processes is for advertising. This generally takes between 24 to 48 hours from submission. In the event a member includes an extensive list of search terms or is requesting placement in a highly desired group, processing may take longer.

What is the policy in the case of a tie bid?
In the case of a tie bid, the application that was received first will be placed first in the search results and shall be considered the winner of that bid.

How much deposit should I send at first?
You may send as little or as much as you are comfortable with. You may deposit a minimum of $1.00 and bid for available keywords beginning at 2 cents for each click-through. After 50 clicks your balance with then be zero, and your site would be removed from the preferred list. The schedule of extra benefits are as follows: deposit $10.00, $25.00, $50.00 and $100.00 and receive $10.00, $50.00, $200.00 and $500.00 respectively. All monies that you deposit to your account are fully refundable at any time. The credit we apply for larger pre-payment bonuses are not refundable. We use a first in and first out system of accounting. You add your monies, and your account is debited from your monies first. The bonus amounts are used after your cash deposit has been exhausted. If you open an account with $1.00 you will receive $1.00’s worth of click through advertising.

What tools are available to manage my account?
PIsearch.com is continually developing and improving the account management center, providing resources for easily adding or changing key words, modifying bids and running reports on click-throughs. Some of our tools include managing your listings, editing your information, viewing your statistics and how they compare to keywords, calculating your daily costs and benefits, searching bids for keywords and or phrases, managing your payments, and your affiliate status, bidding on new keywords, adding new listings and more.

Will I get a report to show actual visits generated by my keywords?
Yes, PIsearch.com make several activity reports available; account activity within any given date range, sorting click-through activity by keyword, rank, clicks, average cost, etc. We believe we have made this process as user friendly as possible, however, we learn as we grow and we want to know any problems you might have. We are always available to help you and learn how we might be able to improve our existing methods and web site.
